Has discreet kept the price down on C2, as with the bundle deal, that was ment to expire by now, or are they putting the price back up.

Combustion v 2.1 is being released January 2003, and has the Same low price.... It is a free upgrade to all v2 owners.

Discreet, today at MacWorld announced it is shipping the update to version 2.1 of Combustion software and is re-pricing Combustion to only US $995.
Which means loads more artists will be able to afford personal copies.

We are currently interview Discreet about Combustion and we'll post the story today or tomorrow.

Even though this came from MacWorld, both the Mac and Windows versions will be avaliable and in North America at the SRP of US$995. Version 2.1 is offered as a
free update for all you exisiting Combustion 2 customers at
