Corrected version of the original post:

I have 3 targa sequences with:
* the RGB sequence
* the matte sequence
* the grey graded version of the rgb sequence ( i mean the z-depth)

Now, how can I make Flame understand that it has to use the rgb file with its matte, and use the grey graded file for the z-depth information?
Basically, I want Flame to use the information contained in the three different sequences to composite one single sequence with a z-depth information
It's pretty easy with combustion, but I can't figure it out with Flame...

Thanks!

Flame does not comp nativly using z-pics. Sapphire plugins include z blur, z comp etc but I'm not sure that they will work with your images.

this is from Alan Boucek from Tippet:

This is only part of what you need to do if your z-depth is in float.

Depending on your pipeline, z-depth may have some really high values
which won't be visible in a normal 0-1 rgb space.

for our pipeline, we have a macro that applies an expand, then a clamp-
basically it pulls a key from the floating point values.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what Shake's depth key does, but that
assumes that the depth is in the z-channel.

I imagine that you know that, from the desktop, you choose the front clip with the red arrow, the matte clip with the blue arrow, etc.
You can,t use the Z-depth information in Flame because Flame doesn,t accept formats like rpf or rla with Z-buffer. You can open this formats in Combustion and use the g-buffer information, with the Z-depth included. If anybody knows how to import z information in Flame, please tell us.
The people think that Flame works like the community Combustion+3D Studio importing objects, materials, Z information, etc, but in this case is not true.
