Illustrator Files will not open

Trying to open up Illustrator files and I get this message

"file is not recognized by illustrator converter. conversion aborted"

combustion version 2.1.1 mac osX

Is it just me or do I have a software issue.

you can try to save your illustrator in a lower version. Combustion not understand the lastest or "recent" version of illustrator.

You can decide a version compatibility of saving, directly in illustrator.

Hi,

Combustion 2.1 supports Illustrator 8.0 files.

When you have finished in Illustrator just select "Save as.." and choose the file version 8.0.
