To all the combustion masters out there,

I need help with audio in combustion. When I import an audio (.AIF and .WAV)or movie file (.MOV and .AVI) with audio into combustion it does not play back. The audio wave is there and I see it; however, when I hit the play button nothing happens. The volume is at 100 in both the software and desktop setting. Can anyone please help. Thanks

Hi,

Ensure that you are not running any other applications in the background that use your sound card like an editting application for example.

Secondly, if you are playing the audio with the video in combustion you need to let the frames cache into the memory so that they can play back at the correct speed and the audio will also playback at the correct speed too.

You also need to bear in mind that if your video uses up all your RAM, combustion will not be able to play back your audio in full..
