Hello,

I have a combustion scene with two spots and three different objects.
Id like my main spot to light only one object. I mean excluding the two other objects from this spotlight.
How can I do this ?

Thank you.
Jean

P.S. Sorry for the bad english. :?

Hi,

You can programme specific layers in combustion to ignore shadows and shading.

Select the layers that you do not want affected by the spot and go to the "Surface" menu and turn off "shading". You may want to also go to the "Layer menu and turn off "Receive Shadow".

Hope that helps...

Yes, I know that, but what if I want the other objects to be lightned by the other spot ? If I turn Shading for these objects, they will be no longer illuminated by any spot, no ?

Hi,

That I am afraid you cannot do in combustion easily. You could try do it by nesting compositions and relighting them as they are in nests but it could get complicated.

I'll submit it as a feature request.
