Hi there,

flint6.1.3 can backup footage to digital betacam with two options: "normal" and "compact". As I know, with compact option, the copied clips are not really saved to VTR, so it can save some space on archive tape, and with normal option, everything is seved to VTR. Both work well when saving to VTR. but when I load the archive which is saved with "compact" option, a warning always apears saying:No enough space, even I just load a single frame. Is there anybody can help me?

Thx.

flint 6.1.3 cannot restore one single clip from a compact backup set, you need to free the space on your framestore in order to restore the whole backup set (on version 7.x you can restore one single clip but anyway you need the free space because the whole backup set is restored, i don't know about version 8) ....pros and cons!!

When I tried the compact backup set, I just used a few frames and it worked well.
