Hi, i'm a little lost here... I would like to know the simplest way of outputting a spot which is PAL D1 4:3 (1.33) to PAL D1 16:9 (1.77) on Flame 7. I hope there's a world out there. Thanks.

D1 4:3 and D1 16:9 is the same resolution, it's just a matter of pixel aspect ratio. Do you have a clip that is 4:3 that you would like to "reframe" for 16:9? Or is it 16:9 anamorphic and should be letterboxed?
If you have a 4x3 image, take into Action & stretch Y scale to 127. This will give you an approximation of an amamorphic 16x9 [from 4x3], but make sure you use the 16x9 option on your RGB monitor to check. Sometimes the ratio of Y can change, so double check with a circle or similiar. You should see an egg shape on the Flame monitor / Circle on the RGB.
BE AWARE THOUGH THAT TITLE / ACTION Safes are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!
Most TV's in the UK are still 4x3. The mastered 16x9 anamorphic image is rescanned for Broadcast to create a 14x9 letterboxed [transmitted picture].
This means that YOU HAVE NO SAFE ACTION top or bottom of frame & will need to title within the centre cut out area.
To approximate a 14x9 letterbox image [as the 16x9 anamorphic image will appear when transmitted on 4x3 TV's in the UK]:
create batch thus:
action 1 = 127 Y scale
action 2 = result of 1 into layer 1
turn off proportional, rescale in Y to 75
then turn on proportional & rescale all to 115
turn off background
Set your user guides in the player to:
Action Safety:
free guide / line:
T 25 B 25
L 75 R 75
Title Safety:
custom safety / relative to border:
T 37 B 37
L 110 R 110
Have Fun........
