Trying to load the new wondertouch particles...

I'm sorry, perhaps I'm not doing something right here...

I downloaded the new particle libraries, and put it in the particle libraries folder of C*. They were supposed to "magically" change to combustion library emitters. Um, no. I then changed the suffix manually, from .iel to .elc, and restarted. Again, no dice.

I then tried again to restart C* and manually load the library. Initially it didn't see them, but when it did, I got the following error: Unsupported library version - error loading library file.

Now, I believe I followed your instructions appropriately, and even tried to extrapolate using common sense, but it doesn't seem to work.

Any suggestions???

Hey,

To best answer your question I should ask a couple of clarifying points. Fist > Did you download the newer particles (June/July 03), these are incompatable with C* 2.11 and will not work. Second > Did you use the import library feature in the particles interface? This will "magically" convert the files to .elc. If you have not tried these things check it out, then if you have let me know a little more in a step by step way and I will do my best to figure out the answer.
