EDL capture

hi,
I'm wondering how to assemble an edl taking all clips from library instead of capture them from betacam or other way. I have already imported all the stuff i need from the network and I set the source timecode using "change timecode".
I must say that the editing has been made using .avi clips.

An EDL uses two elements, the timecode and the tape name. Flame uses both of these plus in the EDL module - Library Reel must be directed to a Library Reel that contains the clips with proper tape names and timecodes.

Flame kinda hides tape names, they are probably easiest viewed and edited in the library using the list view.

you should be able to tell flame to disregard the tape names in the import edl prefs, thats if the tape names don't matter then flame will only look at the generated time code. 8O
