View Full Version : Combustion Cornerpin

I have a PAL image sequence and I want to apply a corner pin to the layer. However, I first need to rotate my sequence 90 degrees on the Z Axis, so that the animation is going in the right direction. Once rotated I then select the corner pin option. The problem is when I attempt to adjust each corner on the rotated image the direction of the transform is completely inverted. For example, if I try to drag my mouse to the top right of the screen, the corner pin goes off in another direction?
The corner pin does work, but only on non rotated images. Is this a bug, or is there a 'correct' way of applying the corner pin to an image layer?
Many thanks,
Anthony.

try this little workaround:
1.) rotate your layer
2.) make a nested layer ( CTRL+E )
3.) select your nested layer and work with "four-corner" mode again

You can also do this:
In the timeline tab go to Layer>Four Corner
adjust manually each vertex considering that the coordinates are relative to the world so if you've rotated the whole object 90 degrees your X became your Y and so on.

Thank you for the tip. I tried this last night but I had the same problem with the coordinates of the cornerpin being all messed up?

hmm, use the nested layer not your original layer inside, it works ;)

Woohoo, it does work. I'm starting to realize how integral nested layers are.
Thank you for the help.
