View Full Version : Nuke demoing available or not?

6th July 2005, 08:31
I am located in Europe so naturally my first move was to contact UK resseler for info. No reply since January. I finalized my working enviroment in the meantime sans Nuke, but will be getting new software/hardware in November/December and now its Vfx dry season so I thought maybe I could spend my time getting to know Nuke to see if its viable for things we do here. Now with the 'no response' expirience i had from January i tried to contact D2 sales directly a week ago. Guess the result? No reply whatsoever. My belif in D2 software department has decreased rapidly, what if i buy Nuke and get the same treatment from support? What then?

Any pointers and opinions are welcome.

Hi,
It is the same for me, i'm working on different toolset (shake, inferno, combustion), i've tried to have some infos about Nuke from the UK resseler and directly from D2 software but no answer...Even if Nuke is a good package, what customers want it is support and infos about the software. In Europe there is no one to speak or to deal...
So i will look to Shake 4, and keep my other packages...
Regards.

Hey grafikus, we are neighbours somewhat. My company is based in Croatia. I tried to contact that Richard guy from Uk with my first email but no go. Maybe I need to try again. Where did you buy Nuke? UK or US?

We bought it thru UK (as far as i know :-)), because they are autorized dealer for Europe.
