For anyone using the following hardware configuration for flame/smoke:

Octane2 V12 with dual channel display option (dual DVI)
DM2 and VBOB with DM5 graphics to video option
Sony SDM-P232W/B or SDM-P234W/B (native 1920 x 1200 resolution)

My question is:

Do these Sony models or any other LCD monitors support the oddball resolution that flame & smoke use when configured with the DM5? I can't recall the exact resolution, but it's basically 1920 x 1200 minus a few lines of the vertical resolution, i.e. 1920 x 11xx.

The 24" CRT supports this resolution, but I'm wondering if any LCDs will as well.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
As far as I'm aware the Sony SDM-P234 (which ships with flint LX) supports the 1920 x 1154 res.
Cheers

It appears that the Dual Display option is fairly important. This monitor crops the image pretty severely when used with the VGA inputs. I'm trying to track down the service manual to rectify the problem.
Ideas?
Thanks
Sam
Update: Service manual found! Seems in the service menu there is a way to get rid of the cropping but the image looks fairly resampled. Not clean like the DVI inputs. Is there an external box that will do a better job of converting the output of the V12 board to DVI? Does anybody have a line on a Dual channel display adapter card?
thanks!
