Hdri Images!!!

I would make some HDRI images, but how could I make it, what do i need to make it and How could I use it in Maya??? I have many doubts because I am studying by myself....

For making the images the best program for it would be photoshop cs2.

As far as i know you cam import them in maya as it is...

What you need to set up the rendering do it can take advantage of them...
