Hi All,

My name is John a VFX Artist from Brisbane, I\\\'m currently in pre-production / R&D for a live action / cg short called Anomaly.

I am wondering if anyone can recommend any good reference books for matchmoving, both onset and post. I will be responsble for shooting the plate as well as tracking.

These 2 books have been recommended, out of the 2 which would you choose?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Matchmoving-Invisible-Art-Camera-Tracking/dp/0782144039

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Art-Technique-Matchmoving-Solutions-Artist/dp/0240812301/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1299118699&sr=1-2

Any other books that would be of help? This will be my first time shooting a plate for matchmoving, but I have used programs like Matchmover before. For this production I plan on using pftrack or syntheyes.

Cheers!

John
