Hi!
The first time I write on the forum! - now I really need help…
The idea is to film a miniature city from different angles with a moving camera - and then shoot greenscreen plates in full scale with actors - and composite them together into a final movie.
The plan is to use the Sony PMW-f3 camera on a Kessler ShuttlePod with a motor and probably the BasicControler (easier to replicate the move later on). The camera will only move sideways on the SP - just one axis.
However, the angle of the SP will be changed in some shots - so that a jib-like move achieved (the SP is upright). I will also in some cases put the camera under the SP to come really close to my miniature model.
My problem and my question now is how do I scale up all my values from miniature shooting to green screen shooting.
What values should I raise and what should I leave to remain?
As the height of the camera, the length of the ShuttelPod, the lens, the focal length, the tilt, the speed and so on.
The best would be if I could use a motorized head too on the SP- but then I will have two more axis to calculate.
Al my test has so far been mostly unsuccessful..
Grateful for quick reply, thanks!
