Where is the industry going?
I have just read through a series of articles describing the hard situation in California for VFX studios and artists. Some quick searches have failed to turn up much content on the situation in other states and countries.
So, my question is: where would be a good place (anywhere in the world) to find work in VFX or animation?

If I were just starting out I\'d make every effort to make my way to London if I were interested in film vfx and get an entry level position that of course is as long as you can get a work visa. That said I would also consider a small US market that has affordable living. You might not get large scale production work but you\'ll definitely get to work on some fun projects. Think Charlotte, NC for example and some high end spots you could work on for Nascar for example.
