Comp a house in the field
Hello,
I m a new graduate in vfx, and i do actually a wip to improve my skills. So, i m looking for the best way to do one thing.
- I ve created a projection from a picture in nuke. Then i create a camera, and i ve animated this camera.

- In maya, i ve modeled a farm and trees / Create a plane who represent my ground / installed my farm and trees on the ground (plane) AND i ve imported my animated camera from nuke ....

Ok , here, everything seems to be ok for a comp BUT ...
How can i create the transition between the farm the ground, between the trees and the ground. My \"junction\" = A straight line not realist

I m looking for a good technique to obtain something like that for exemple ...

Thx for your advices
Regards
Jeff

The ground plane, like the one in the reference, needs to be more uneven. That should make the contact point more random.

Yes i do
So, i ve deformed my card, and the result is almost good ( yepee !!! ). But the texture on the ground don\'t perfectly match with my Farm. For example, in reality, the ground is darker at this contact point. My ideas :
- Fix in photoshop or
- Create a special occlusion pass, ( render with just the ground and the base / foundation of my farm ) to deal just with the contact points. So i could darken just this part of my image, i even color correct !!!
I will try the second solution right now ^^
In any case, for me, it\'s a good exercise practice

You need more realistic textures between your tree and ground.Smoothing will make them looked better.
