Storm Studios is the largest supplier of VFX for feature films in Norway. Our services range from conceptual development, art direction, VFX on-set supervision, animation to films, such as Max Manus, Dead Snow, The King of Devil`s Island, as well as worked on numerous commercials.

In 2010 Storm Studios co-founded Shortcut Norway, with Nordisk Film. Shortcut is a post-production company that does film editing, color grading and sound work, giving the client a complete VFX and post-production facility in-house.

Storm Studios seeking compositors

Compositors seamlessly integrate all the layers or elements of a shot, including live-action and computer graphic elements. Compositors work closely with Visual Effects Supervisors and CG Supervisors to composite the numerous elements that complete a visual effects shot.

You will:
• Work on your shot/sequence to meet a deadline
• Be able to take briefs/direction from Senior/Lead Compositors
• Being responsible for your workload/managing your time
• Balance the creative and technical aspect of each shot
• Work with a good knowledge of color space principles

Essential skills & experience:
• Comp experience in Nuke
• Good communication skills
• Pro-active work ethic
• Strong eye for detail

Desirable skills & experience:
• Lighting photography core skills
• A full understanding of the VFX pipeline
