8to10 export
Hi, can anybody explain something to me...
I've heard that if you work with a tiff file as an example, and you want to export as a 10log cineon file, you should use the 8to10 default lut to be as near as you can from the "what you see is what you get"
Then why is it that when you import a cineon file with a lut, you should export with the invert lut ? As far as I know, When the cineon file as been imported in the framestore, you work with it, colorcorrect it etc... its not a cineon file anymore. Its just an Image, like the tiff file. Why cant I just take the default 8to10 lut like we do with the tiff ??
