FYI - I just downloaded the patch and PDF instructions and installed on two machines (Onyx2 and Tezro running 5.52 Inferno / 8.52 Flame - both on 6.5.23). Install was easy following step by step instructions in the PDF.

We have added the fix here locally to my inferno/Onyx 2.
There are now bug fixes for all versions of the software.
It is also working with the next version of the release code - which is just coming out of beta.
For those of who want to know more we'll be doing a Q&A with Discreet tomorrow - where we'll try and find out more behind the mysterious date problem.

Did the update for our 2 Infernos(one on Onyx 2 the other on Onyx350), 2 Smokes and a Flame. Informed a couple of old colleagues about the issue, I hope they take care of their old Flint 5.5 and Flint 6.x.
When applying the patch the inferno on Onyx2 gave the message
"driver not found for ide device"
before the usual barrage of messages.
It doesn't effect the system though...

Got the same message on our onyx2 though that does'nt seem to be a problem(?). Smoke(octane) and flame(octane2) patched without problems....When applying the patch the inferno on Onyx2 gave the message
"driver not found for ide device"
before the usual barrage of messages.

Sorry for bumping an old thread...
I have an Effect O2 which is suffering from this issue. Does anyone have the patch archive files
for Effect on O2 please? I can't find them anywhere.
Rough guess, perhaps the file name would be something like, "effect603_o2_w_rolloverfix.tar"?
Thanks!!
