Annoying high pitch sound from GC in Combustion
Anytime I run combustion (G5 w/ ATI Radeon 9600 XT) it makes this high pitch noise from graphics card (I am assuming) and I cannot get it to stop .. I tried turning off openGL , still nothing. It does this even when there is no workspace open ... ARGHHH
please help

Maybe your machine wants to tell you that it's about to combust...?
Sorry, couldn't resist...
Actually, I can't offer you any help on this problem, as I've never encountered it myself, although when I start Maya (6.0), it sometimes lets out a strange, scratchy noise as soon as the load screen pops up. Most of the time it keeps it's mouth shot, but every now and then it goes over the edge.

Hi,
that is exactly the reason why I downgraded back to Combustion 3.0.1 on may G4 Powerbook. Couldnt work one more minute with it.
I am thinking, I should just give up combustion on a mac....
Shake doesnt make a sound!
