make me beautiful
hi there
iv got a little bit of tricky HD beauty cleanup to do. manually painting out dimples and blemishes was easy enough, and a degrain and some keys to bring back the detail has helped
i was wondering if any of you genius's could suggest any more cunning techniques to minimise the manual painting as i have alot of footage to get through. who's the smartest!
cheers,
alex

Hi,
that the two tips i use for that type of job.
1- use "dust and scratch" or "median" to smooth the skin and after recover
the detail with a "find edge" in a set matte to recover the original detail.
2- use a bandpass in overlay to reduce skin grain and other imperfections.
play with the amount to invert the effect and make a old lady work to.
Cheers

i simply make multiple fine garbage masks and blur em out [dependin on the artifact to remove f course]...render with a blend matte and then use that matte to add some grain back on...quick easy way and still looks good...thailand post houses which do the best skin/beauty commercial treatment in asia/pacific also use the same technique.
