    Default letterbox formula?

    Hi,
    whats the formula to calculate arbitrary letterbox pixel dimension for any given resolution?

    for instance 2.25 letterbox in NTSC

    720 / 2.25 = 320

    For NTSC and PAL which use non square pixels the height should be used to calculate
    the letterbox.

    Height x Current Aspect Ratio / Letterbox Aspect Ratio

    486 x 1.33333 / 2.25 = 288
