3D- CG particle Flickering-Question??
One of the CG guys gave me a fluid/voxel b_pass of smoke, however it seems to be flickering when placed in the comp/movie. Rather than re-render CG, does anyone know how to decrease or eliminate flickering? ps.they are .iff files
i tried the sapphire plugin "FlickerRemove" but not sure if this is the best way to accompish this task. Thanxs!

have you tried timewarping it to 100% and adding in mix or motion estimation?

What kind of flicker in the shot? Flicker on the edge or in whole render object? IMHO, if it's on the edge, sometimes I will use defocus or blur or mix a little bit and then sharp the edge and that can only decrease the flicker.....if it's flicker on the 3D object, flicker remove might work. Usually I will ask 3D guy to re-render those problematic frames because sometimes this kind of situation just due to network render and re-render can solve.
Not sure if those can help.....please forgive me if not.....
