Default Diffuse Filter on green screen

Have you ever received green screen shots filmed with a diffuse filter on the lens of the camera (promist in this case) http://www.tiffen.com/promist.htm?
I'm trying to explain to the production and the director that it is a complete professional mistake from the D.o.P. but no one listen. I really don't know how to key and grade the shots now because there's green everywhere. Any idea ?

Haven't seen a case of this for many, many years.
    I feel for you.

At least somebody understand, it won't save the job but it's nice to see that I'm not completely mad yet .

you could color correct, boost the saturation and use that to key from. This should give you a better key to pull a matte from. You may need to garbage mask this.
If you have access to FFi you can use the 3d keyer, Several patches may also
    do the trick.

after killing the DOP, try sharpening the image, use the color warper to try and get mid tones back..try and use the sharpened image to get a matte...it will never be perfect of course but better than nothing...u may need to key with a lotta layers, like shadows/mids separate all patched back on
