    Default Running with the Bulls.

Just watched this podcast. I was in Pampalona last year, and remember seeing the cable cam rig. There are lots of TV cameras to capture the action, and it is amazing how quickly they have the highlights (a.k.a the gorings) playing on the jumbo-tron by the time the runners get into the ring. But the cable-cam definitely stood out to me. Glad to see what its purpose was now. I only got to run the last day of the festival, so much fun. Eager to see the finished piece. I found the greatest danger was not the bulls, but avoiding tripping over people cowering in a ball on the ground, then getting run over by other people. Also, remember to wear comfortable running shoes. I had shitty ones, and my feet hurt so bad, i could barely walk by the end.

Funny how popular running with the bulls is with non-Spaniards. Not sure why that is so. Maybe Hemingway knew... (The Sun Also Rises). Oh, it's Pamplona, not Pampalona. Seems like you got your Argentine Pampas mixed up with your Spanish Pamplona.
