fxguide is excited to be a partner for the 9th annual Conference on Visual Media Production, to be held in London on December 5th and 6th. The goal of the conference is to bring together post productions pros with imaging and graphics researchers. The conference has grown since its inception and again this year there are some outstanding presentations.
For a limited time, early bird tickets are available for £250 — that’s £100 off the full price. To register for the event, visit the CVMP web site.
Because of the huge popularity last year, the event has moved to a larger location: the Vue Cinema in Leicester Square. The event has a decided technical and scientific flavor, intended to show some of the latest image processing research that is being adopted in production — or that will be adopted in future projects. Similar to the papers at the venerable SIGGRAPH conference, it’s a great way to peek into the future and see what might be adpoted in actual pipelines in films, games, and other media.
