fxguidetv from IBC: Storm

Our second fxguidetv from IBC 2010 in Amsterdam is a look at Storm, the Foundry’s upcoming R3D editing and workflow tool. The product was first shown publicly at NAB earlier this year and has undergone a vast amount of improvement since then. The episode of fxguidetv includes interviews with The Foundry’s Richard Shackleton and RED’s Ted Schilowitz as well as a demo of the software from DOP Peter Majtan.

Visit the fxguidetv page for direct fxguidetv downloads and RSS feed links. To be notified automatically and have the episodes downloaded in iTunes, subscribe via this link.

The software will be available as a free public beta on November 1st and then will be available for purchase in February 2011. The cost is targeted to be $375USD, which makes it certainly affordable for use both in the field and in post. We also have a gallery of full resolution screen grabs from the Storm demo at IBC.
