• Review shot turnovers with 2D Sup/Lead for predetermined outsource work
• Work with producer to support bid packages (style frames, bid specs, QTs, 2K frames or full scans if necessary) for outsource vendor bidding and works with 2D Sup/Lead to ensure vendor requests/questions are addressed
• Upon bid approval by VFX Producer, coordinates day-to-day wip reviews between 2D Sup/Lead and outsource vendor
• Maintain outsource vendor ftp, including routine file deletions, etc.
• Input data into Shotgun database as instructed by the supervisors of each department for each show requiring outsource assistance
• Work closely with Producer and Supervisor to apprise them of shot status and schedule
• Maintain an at-a-glance summary of all outsource work
• Other duties and responsibilities consistent with your position as may be assigned to you from time to time


• 3-5 years of solid production experience coordinating feature film
• 2 years coordinating outsourced work
• Must be an expert project coordinator/scheduler
• Must be able to multi-task with ease under pressure
• Highly organized, able to transform detail-oriented work into action
• The ability to foresee and flag potential production related problems
• Must be extremely knowledgeable in database management. Past Shotgun experience is a plus
• Ability to Absolute fascination and dedication to post-production work is essential
• Must understand basic client-to-vendor relationships and show an eagerness to develop and enhance studio profile with the clients Outstanding communication skills are mandatory
• Internal focus and motivation of the visual effects production staff is key
