I’m actually working as a freelance vfx/3d “artist” here in Paris.
I’ll be moving to Canada next year (Montreal for a start), and I was wondering if anyone around here could help me out with a few questions… What are the buisness status for a freelancer ? What does it take to officially become one ? Things are quite complicated in France, so I’m wondering… How do things happen finacially wise, and so on…
Extra question : who are the big vfx companies ? What’s the market like ? I’ve got a little info from the net or french supervisors I know, but any help from a true canadian would be Very appriciated…
