currently im working with some particle shots… i want add DISPLACEMENT in BG using particle’s alpha….i cant find any tools for that in nuke5.0 pls help me out………………….

Let us know if this solved it for you

Nuke wants TWO channels. One for x and one for y. so if you only have one say luminance or red copy the same info into BOTH channels.
then append an iDstort and nominate these channels as the displace channels in the UV node.
Simple huh !

Hey aneks no need for UV u can use Alpha channel as a UV… add ur alpha with ur BG plate using Shuffle copy node…… n IDistort UV Channels to alpha and then adjust UV offset…..
(Hi aesnakes thanks for u toooooo….. that way we make only distract (im asking about displace)… got it)
