is there anyone needing to offload a flame linux ideally 2010. Plus possibly any sparks. I’m in the market for one so please pm me price and spec if interested.

I would be interested in either just the software or the software/hardware.

I know of 2 systems:

1) Discreet Flame v9 software
Discreet Flame2k v9 system: IBM Linux workstation, dual CPU, 4 Gb
23 inch monitor
HBA 4 ports 2GB MMoptic PCI-X 66Mhz
Autodesk Stone Direct – XR- 4Gb FC HW Raid Protected Storage Chassis

This is suitable for an upgrade to latest and greatest.

2) Discreet Flame 2010 ext1
Latest spec Z800. No Storage.

that IBM machine is not suitable for the latest and greatest. IBMs do not run Flame 2010.

You have to have an HP box for that.

True, but it’s upgradable and that way you get the Z800 and storage to the spec you want not what someone else ordered.
