Back in the 50’s when Hollywood was afraid of television taking away its audience it came up with all kinds of ways to keep people in theaters. Some were great and innovative and pushed the medium of film, like CinemaScope. Some were more gimmicky – like 3D. Now television is having to compete with the internet for its audience and what do we get? First off and most important – HDTV. What else? 3D HDTV! And we’re stuck wearing those goofy glasses again. Maybe we’ll get Smell-O-Vision again too.
Hi, I agree with you 3D televisions has been around in anyone’s living room and its has been here and even percolating over a year now. Technology is fast changing and now, I heard of HDMI 2.0 which is the latest iteration of the HDMI specification.
