I saw the poll results on 5.0 8.0 upgrade choices.
I was wondering why 9 people (so far) chose ‘not worth it’ to upgrade.
What makes you think that? And most especially, based on what information is this assessment made?

It was showned at NAB 2002, Announced/Released at Siggraph 2002 but unfortunately until today you can’t even get the datasheet on v8/v5.
Are there any problems??

There are no datasheets just yet, but stay tuned to fxguide: there is already one article on what was publicly shown of 5.0, and another to come.
Feel free to ask questions about the release. I’ll be happy to give as much information as possible.
