Hello all!
My name is Mike and I am the product specialist at the in-sync corporation. Some of you may already know that in-sync and eyeon just announced a new line of 10 bit HD and SD capture cards & workstations. Among other things, these SDI cards have full support for both Digital Fusion & Digital Fusion HD. You can read more about it in eyeon’s press center or in-sync’s press center. We are very excited to join the eyeon community, as we have long admired their excellent software.
If you have any technical questions about this new hardware line, please feel free to respond to this thread. Of course, you can also shoot me an e-mail ([email protected]) or drop me a line (800 864 7272 x117) and I will do my best to help you out. 😀
I look forward to speaking with you all!
Cheers,
Mike McKane

Will it still be 10 bit?

At this time, no, we do not plan support for Linux. It is a question that is popping up more and more, so consider your voice “counted.” 🙂
The hardware itself, however, fully supports 10 bit (Thor is the 10 bit HD card, and Loki is the 10 bit SD card) under XP. The 10 bit and 8 bit support is, in fact, native to the card, so all it needs is a supported application to take advantage of it.
Thanks for posting!
Cheers,
Mike McKane
