    Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to import AAF file into Flame* , i tryed by using the import OMF menu but of course nothing. Maybe the answer is convert the AAF into an OMF (i understood that they wasn’t that much friend OMF/AAFjavascript:emoticon(‘’)) if so do someone know how. And do you guys use often OMF import into flame and is it accurate?javascript:emoticon(‘’)

    thanks a lot.

P.S: my AAF file is from Final Cut Pro HD

as far as I know, the only way to import from FCP to Discreet system is to convert your work into an image sequence. I know you can load an standard format EDL but that is as far as it goes…

    Hi,
Yeh, I know it was quite scary the way FCP used to produce EDL but it much better now with HD. So i guess that i’m not gonna produce and OMF for flame, isn’t it?
I was dreaming about a AAF / OMF convector and of course an accurate one.
Let’s way maybe a real multi-platform oriented solution will knock at our doors.

    cheers

if anyone have a solution, please let me know
