    Hi! everyone!
    I am all new to this forum, I have been a discreet user for 5 years and I am now using Shake/Tremor for 3 years, and I am looking forward to jumping back to discreet boxes in very near future, so hopefully I could post some of the issues I have eventually because I have been operating Shake for a while now, and hope I could get some useful tips!

    What reasons makes u go off from Shake and Tremor and back to Discreet???

    Now it’s me who’s curious: what makes you wonder about him wanting to operate a full blown discreet system instead of Shake? Do you really think that Shake is THAT much better than FFI?

    Hi!
    I am getting back to discreet due to my employer is purchasing one, and as for myself, I am quite looking forward to using discreet boxes again because the interactivity is faster than shake! I do not have to flipbook and see the outcome of my process in FFI, my personal opinion!

    Hey!

    In my opnion, except on the 3D, paint (that´s rough faster and interactive than shakes one) and particles, Shake runs and do the same work with the same efficiency and professional level, but, I mean that the coast of a Shake + Final Cut (if you wanna be online) + G5 box + XServe RAID makes all the difference, and beats the mentioned advantages inside the expensive and closed world of a FFI system with a LARGE distance…
    For me, if u don´t need to track camera onto de composition boxes, and make particles (most of the finish houses has a 3D dept. do to that) you don´t really NEED to go to or stay onto a discreet one…
