Hi,
I was wondering if anyone who saw this new Apple add with Eminem http://www.apple.com/itunes/ads/ knew how they did it ?
Is it a 2d illustration with the layered keyed Eminem contrasted, plus extra paint, er … painted on top ? What do you reckon ?
I am curious because I want to experiment with painting a real video with plugins, using Combustion 4.October 19, 2005 at 3:18 pm #210940robbyracerParticipantparamita wrote:Hi,I was wondering if anyone who saw this new Apple add with Eminem http://www.apple.com/itunes/ads/ knew how they did it ?

I am curious because I want to experiment with painting a real video with plugins, using Combustion 4.I saw it last night and the visuals really struck me. I had no idea it was Eminem though because I had the sound off. Looks like lots of paint layers.

Further down in that discussion somebody said it was LA based company Logan that made the apple commercial. I couldn’t find it on their site but it’s quite probable that they made it as they have done spots for Apple before. Logan you can find here: http://www.hellologan.com
It’s quite obvious that they have been looking at psyop ( http://www.psyop.tv ). The Psyop site is well worth a visit as they have done loads of interesting stuff. -
