Apple has acquired Silicon Color, the company responsible for producing FinalTouch color correction software. Apple will continue to honor maintenance agreements held by current Silicon Color customers until they expire, according to the company, and gains rights to all Silicon Color technology as well as its intellectual property.

Phenomenon is just a key word for the project that will emerge as the replacement for shake. What is going to be only Apple knows and they are very secretive. They announced a 2007 release for it so i guess we’ll have to wait and see.

it will probably be made for an 8-core machine and a top nvidia cad and could probably perform composition at 2K in realtime and probably will only cost you with the computer about 10K

apple doesnt freely release ANYTHING unless you of course are good friends with the developers. Then and only then u might get a slight breeze of info.

i happen to be in a cross breeze, and i still know not much.

supposedely alpha starts right around now, but i cant confirm that.
