Hi guys,
My name is Chris Kellett and I’m a young film maker in Australia who’s recently finished up a short film that took us 3 and a half years to make for only $1800. It contains over 375 VFX shots and the reason I wanted to share it here is actually because there were hardly any people working on the VFX for this and we took heaps of inspiration from an FXGuide article you guys may have seen called ‘One man vs Attila the Hun’. A story about a guy who worked on a doco about Attila and completed all of the VFX shots from his house with an incredible turn around on shots. We found it really inspiring and often think about how much it spurred us on to finish this film while we worked for 7months straight, 16hour days, 7 days a week and that was a really hard to get through. If you haven’t read the article I really suggest you check it out, its a great read.
So I’d love to hear any feedback you guys have about the film, let us know what you think for better or worse and hopefully you guys enjoy it. Any questions please don’t hesitate to ask, we really want to give back to the VFX community that was so generous to us when we had questions ourselves. The full film is online for free over on youtube at the link below!
Cheers guys,
