    Hi guys,

I’ve just watched Avatar and I was very pleased with the fantasy world and all the visual effects that count plenty.
But where is the so called “industry revolution” James Cameron talked about ?

Mister Cameron did raised the bar very high in… 1991 with T2, so unless we forget what has been done since then ( Jurassic Park, LOTR, Pirates of Caribbean, Benj. Button and so forth ) I don’t see anything so special with this Avatar film.

Ok, compare to other movies, right and left brain hemisphere got hit both, leaving me with a stereo headache but unfortunately the storyline does not make it up for it.

    Thanks for trying James.

Let’s all jump on the Hate Wagon! How many VFX artist were fed with Avatar’s budget ?

How many jobs will be created ? James Cameron has made a major push for VFX with Avatar. You could be a little grateful.

This might be the reason vfx artist are not as respected as they should be. It seems some of them cant get over their own ego enough to congratulate someone else.

Well, my respect to mr. Cameron and all CG guys and girls worked on this thing. Fantastic, simply fantastic. Details and scale of the world are terrific, character’s mimics is awesome… I can continue this list all day long.
