Currently doing a film job (2k 12bit) at the moment and I’m generally setting up about 6 to 8 batch outputs every night to render. Basically I want to stream line the whole process. But as we all know I only have two options, 1. to use batch in the command line (fincky and not user friendly) or 2. Queue Manager in batch which isn’t really the bees knees for render queue management.

It be would be great if I had a very simple drag and drop programme either built into flame or in IRIX, where all I had to do was browse to the setup and add it to the queue, just like our 3d guys do. When this *imaginary* software loads the setup into the queue its checks for missing clips and resolution mixing problems
and any other problems that it finds with the setup. I’m not using burn, so all I want to do is organize my single machine rendering to be more efficient.

    Any body got some ideas?
