Is it possible to import track data from a program like Boujou into DF? I had done a camera track in Boujou of an empty football stadium sequence, i then wanted to add some lines(in DF) on the empty fooball field with the this camera tracking data from Boujou. I know that this is possible in prgrams like Maya, Flame, Combustion, etc. BUT Is there some sort of conversion porgram for DF….. or am I just out of my mind?
Thanks DF gurus!!

in DF5 you can import XSI or lighwave native files straight into the camera in 3D space.
it´s even better in DF5 than in c* because you can use the 3D geometry to immediately check wether it fits or not.you need an extra point cloud node to see the tracking points which is nessesary to align everything….
it really works great (i use pftrack but should work the same).
hope this helps

hi guys
sorry for my bad english… 😉could you explain to me what is the extra point cloud node…or if have a link for a tutorial…, because i have tried to import data from boujou in all aviable formats but the fusion camera does not work, and maybe the reason it’s what you are talkin about, i’m sure that data are ok because max and combustion correctly import it.
Thanks a lot for support

whats the work flow for using max, PFtrack and fusion5?
I have exported animated cameras straight out of max as ASE files and imported them on to fusion cameras
but have never got it to work for PFtrack data……
whats more is, if you do geometry tracking in PF track you dont get a point cloud just the camera the obj and scene helper.
when trying to import that camera it remains stationary. It must rely on the obj used in the camera solve.
Any ideas or help would be great!
thanks
