Hi all,
The title may be wrong. Here is the problem
Last night I started to capture a rather big edl of about 15 minutes from 12 different tapes. I left it to an assistant to finish the whole thing, changing tapes and stuff.
This morning I look at the library and the clips are there. But when I goto the Edl module the clips look uncaptured. I checked the tape names and reel names and they all match.
Is there any way to tell the system that the clips are there? It would be couple of hours to recapture the whole thing.
Flame 9.5.1, Tezro, clips are 16:9 PAL
Thanks in advance

I have had this problem as well.
First thing to check is that the clips have been imported as 16×9. The library only shows the clips in a 4×3 format so you should load the clips onto the desktop.
If your using software prior to 2007 then a bug exists in the input module that causes clips to be captured in 4×3 instead of 16×9 even is 16×9 has been selected.
The fix for this is simple. When you first enter the input module, the aspect will say 16×9. What you need to do is switch the aspect to 4×3 then back to 16×9.
If you exit the input module then return later you will need to repeat the last step.
Good luck

In the meantime I found the same solution. I was about to recapture everything. When switched the aspect ratio to 16:9 all the uncaptured clips disappeared and I had nothing to capture.
Thanks again…
