    Hi,
I have been stuck on stupid for 2 days. I have a hand held “Pan up” of a building. For the most part, its 98% a nodal pan. (no paralax).

I’ve tracked the shot as a Nodal pan shot. I’ve also used the focal length node to get the correct lens before tracking. (in my case, I need the CG cam to be 12mm) When the track is complete, I get a good track however, my camera shows up as 19mm or 23 mm. (even though my Focal node is set to 12mm)

So no matter how hard I try to line up the CG building to the Live plate, I can’t get the CG building to look as HUGE, LONG as the live action building. If I manually adjust the focal lenght, my shot lines up fantastic, BUT I loose my tracking data due to the camera breaking the focal lens.

So does anyone know how to adjust or change the focal lenght after a matchmove?

BTW, I am using PFTRACK 2012
    thanks,
    Lou

Hey man, what I would try doing is creating a new camera with the correct focal length, and align and parent it to your matchmove camera. You will retain all matchmove data but on a camera with different settings. And then just hide your matchmove camera. Let me know if this works!
