Anyone know of any supported framebuffers for combustion on windows that are under $1500? Any tips appreciated. -chad

However you can buy a decklink board for less than 300$. (it has a SDI output).HTH

i have the standard-decklink with SDI only just for framebuffering and it works perfect.
if you plan to do HD work later, you should consider buing a deckling HD which is also quite cheap and can handle both SD and HD.keep in mind that you need a monitor with SDI input capabilities if you want to use the deckling solution. (the also have models with analog output though).

timorYou can also get SDI->RGB converters for about $300 if you want to use the decklink with a broadcast monitor that doesn’t have SDI-in. We’re doing that where I work with great results.

It supports composite and S-video out..When it norrows down to 2D (Compositing) perforemance, it shatters….
