I need to come up with an effect for a person cloning/splitting up into a copy of himself. Do you know any movies where I might find references?
I think the actual effect needs to be pretty quick as there will be several splits going on.
Could it be a morphing/growing out and a final split? 3D? Particles? Small guy sort of jumping out and growing up? Hide the split with glow or other effect, etc.
Any cool ideas or references are welcome. Thank you.K.

I think you should try simple or if you have time do the 3D, 2D mix and put some particles in 😆
