Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has heard any facts or rumours about a new Combustion 4 release. Discreet just came out with a new release for smoke and Inferno. I’m looking to find out whats in store for Combustions next version and when it may be released.December 9, 2004 at 12:12 am #209048joe44Participantdon’t ask…..they don’t tell!
December 9, 2004 at 10:19 am #209050malu05_vbParticipanti know something!…. well the monitor framebuffer output is at a higher res then vesion 3…
in version 3 the max output is 800×600… and that’s fustrating… i spoke to he the guys from TVzeka, and they told me that it was going to change in the near future… well i guess that would be version 4 or 5…
Version 3 is about a year old so i guess they soon wil release a new one! 😀
hope they ad a spinline based warp like Flame and Inferno…! 😛

I am not exactly sure what you are talking about here with regards to resolution? If we are refering to the broadcast framebuffer then it depends on your video card. If you use a SD or HD card will give you the relevant output.
As for the monitor resolution, I run combustion at 1920×1200 pixels on my laptop and it is fine.

Combustion 3.0 comes with Re:flex warp and morph which is a spline based warper and morpher like Inferno and Flame.
All that I have menetioned is already in combuston 3.0
