Hey eveyone. I am compiling a FAQ for combustion to be added to this site. If you have any tips or trick or must know items please send them to me at [email protected] or just post them here and I will start to compile them.

It is my hope that we can get as much info as possible. Some heading or topics are:

    Using Combusiton on Film Jobs
    Roto-Scoping
    Painting
    integration with FFI
    Color Correcting
    Keying
    Stability issues
Deleting the host ini. and Paint ini files and why?
    Backburner

    just to name a few:

    Regards
    Alan Bell

    Normally it is text…

Q: so how do you do X?
(short and to the point – good for search engines)

A: well it is like this ( short and text based)

If you need to do a big multiple page answers then a download pdf or just a tip in the tips section with a link is ideal.
BTW: Peter Webb has submitted some brilliant tips to fxguide and one – on derived camera positions and lens types – (which is here at http://www.fxguide.com/fxtips-233.html) – is now used by real work CSI teams in real world court cases !!!

FAQ : I would like to see answered for Combustion is
Q:. How do you work with multipass renders from Max.

Q: How do you export rotos to Flame?

Q: How do you upres – interlaced video to Progressive HD in Combustion?

Q: How do you get AE plugins to work in Combustion?

more as I think of them…

We already have a great LUT guide by Peter Webb btw…
