combustion tv display problem

hi,
im watching the combustion on the tv through the firewire and the mini dv cam attached
the display on tv is 16Bit
i mennagde to watch effects and color.
when im trying to apply an edge gradient or feather to a mask the display on my tv is without any grad ,blur etc….
does anyone know what is the problem

Have you tried, after the mask, what happend adding a solid – opaque -bkg?
Probably it’s an alpha problem.
